Mental Wellness Coaching

Mental Wellness Coaching is an action-oriented approach, designed to address life challenges. Unlike traditional psychotherapy, coaching focuses on the present and future, helping clients figure out how to make changes in specific parts of life, develop healthier habits, and learn how to manage stress through cognitive and holistic skills.

Rather than digging deeply into the why of a challenge or stressor, coaching will look at the more immediate pathway forward. Similar techniques and principles of psychotherapy are used, to teach clients how to manage emotional stress and regulate their nervous system; however unlike clinical therapy, there is no focus on diagnosis and symptoms. Instead, the focus is on coping tools, building skills for psychological flexibility, and creating more life fulfillment.

The frameworks that will guide are work include:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

  • Compassion-Focused Therapy

  • Mindfulness

Coaching is available globally and can be done via remote or in-person (local to Los Angeles, CA, USA) sessions. The Coaching session rate is $200/50 minute session and discounts are available via packages or sliding scale.

As Coaching does not involve a clinical mental health diagnosis, insurance cannot be used, nor can superbills be provided.
